Northern Michigan fishing!!

After a 16hr. drive from Asheville NC I arrived at one of Northern Michigan's finest bass fisheries. A glacier made lake, with rocky bars that extended out in 7-13 ft. clear water with weed lines around 15-17 foot of water all holdin fat smallies, red eye-rock bass, pike, and a few lm bass mixed in. It's my testing grounds for lures bought throughout the year at random stores and expos. Fishing the whole spectrum of lures from B-pro in-spinner's, all rubber jigs, perch and bluegill-cranks baits, deer hair jigs w/ rattles, finesse soft plastics, crawfish hard baits all producing nice smallies. Caught over 40 small mouth bass with my family fishing team in less than 3 days of great fishing. Most in the 2 to 3 lb. range with a good handfull over 20in. in length. It was really nice to get away from a flooded Western NC fishery for a few days... enjoy the photos

solid fish that hit a green meps in-line spinner size 4. This fish had two other bass in the water following it around when hooked and fighting like crazy. . .
